Over the years, we here at Cora Bett Thomas Rentals have had the privilege of hosting some pretty amazing guests and long-term residents. From famous stars like Will Smith Matt Damon, and Charlize Theron, to incredible entrepreneurs and executives from all over the world, we’ve been so honored to provide a Savannah home for hundreds of interesting people with amazing stories.

In light of that, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of our current guests and their stories, beginning with Anthony Scarpulla, owner of G.B. Lobster restaurant, bar and market co-op. Although, his greatest claim to fame may be his eccentric merle poodle, Ghost Buster.

He and Ghost Buster met Cora Bett during a stroll through the historic district when they ran into her and her basset hounds. A few months later, while looking for a property to rent downtown, he came to Cora Bett Property Management!

Anthony and Ghost Buster own G.B. Lobster, specializing in Lobster Rolls and sides served via counter-service ordering. They have a simple limited menu so each plate can be made to perfection . They opened on October 16th, 2020 and feature a full bar and frozen drink bar!

Anthony served in the army, here in Savannah from 2005-2009. He was disabled in duty and redirected his passions into the film industry where he spent the following 12 years. He relocated back to Savannah at the end of January saying the city’s charm, walkability and romance had captured him 10 years before.

Every morning, Anthony and Ghost Buster wake up, grab coffee and walk from their CBPM apartment on Broughton to the restaurant where they prep for the day and open the restaurant.

Anthony has exciting plans for the future of G.B. Lobster including industry nights (entertainment, service, etc), art gallery’s, wine tastings, live music, Farm Markets, and creating a community for locals and tourism alike.
