As with most holidays in Savannah, we like to celebrate Halloween with our four-legged friends at the front and center. Savannah’s annual Wag-O-Ween event, hosted by Renegade Paws Rescue and The Hipster Hound, is a favorite among the local and visitors alike.

To help us all get in the Halloween Spirit and support such a fun and community-minded event, Cora Bett Vacation and Rentals is searching for the best dressed Halloween pup on our Instagram account.

Here’s how you and your pup can win:

Wag-O-Ween Event Details

• This pet-friendly community event takes place each Halloween in downtown Savannah and attracts 1000+ participants. The best part, money raised supports local animal rescues in their mission to place pets in ‘furever’ homes, subsidize no-barrier community spay and neuter, and support community education programs.
• This year, the event will take place over two days the weekend before Halloween, to allow for a less-crowded trick or treat route and social distancing at treat stops.
• The 15th annual Wag-O-Ween will be held this weekend Saturday & Sunday, October 24-25, from 12p.m. – 5:00pm for the 2020 Wag-O-Weekend!
• Humans and animals alike dress up in Halloween costumes, follow their event maps to over 100 local businesses giving out dog treats and goodies.
• To participate, every human participant must purchase and wear a wristband to collect treats for their four-legged friends.
• Maps & wristbands are available for a $10 donation, both online and for pick-up at multiple locations in the  two weeks leading up to the event.
• On the day of the event, sport your best Halloween finery and follow the map to trick or treat at nearly 100 downtown Savannah businesses with your canine companion.
