The Plant Riverside District is now open!

Labeled the largest hospitality project Savannah’s Historic District has ever seen, this new hotspot is a must-visit for Savannah locals and tourists alike.

Visitors entering the new project can expect to be greeted by the replica of one of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered hanging from the ceiling, a dazzling view of 4- to 5-million-year-old towering geodes that sit in the middle of the lobby, and a riverfront area equipped with Bellagio-style fountain shows timed with music and lights. The Plant Riverside District is, in the words of developer Richard Kessler, “unlike any other development on the East Coast of the United States.”

This new 670,000 square foot hospitality project is the home to established Savannah businesses including, Byrd’s Cookie Company, Urban Poppy, and Savannah Square Pops, as well as, an additional dozen food and beverage options, and a 419 room locally owned and operated JW Marriot Hotel.

A few restaurants you can expect to see are Riverside Sushi, District Smokehouse, Graffito Pizza, Riverside Biergarten, Stone & Weber Chophouse, a rolled ice cream shop, a cafe, and more.

When it comes to nightlife, Plant Riverside District is the place to be. From the live music venue to the outdoor movie space, the fun will last long into the night.
